How many Presentation Sessions are included in one day?
We provide as many sessions a day as we can fit in! This includes as many classes /students as your space can accommodate. The number of sessions is determined by each school's time constraints and the length of sessions requested.
How long is each Presentation?
A 'Session' consists of a customized combination of our individual services. They generally amount to about 1 - 2 hours each. (By no means does this mean kids are required to sit and listen quietly this whole time. We include interaction from the audience and can even include stretching and break time if needed.) We adjust the length depending on the audience's attention span and also to accommodate multiple services in one session. Feel free to mix and match from the menu above to build a visit perfect for you! Multiple price quotes can be provided upon an initial consultation.
Can Multiple Schools Share Cost?
Yes! As long as the schools are in the same district and are located near enough to each other, we would be glad to split Sessions between more than one school.
Is there an extra charge for travel?
Yes! If we need to travel more than 3 hours outside of the Kansas City Metro area, travel costs will be added accordingly.
Is the content of your presentation educational?
Yes it is! We present about the process of being Professionals in our fields of expertise as well as teach about the process of narrative writing. Our content was created especially with Kansas State Writing Standards in mind: W.2-5.3; W.2-5.4; and W.2-5.5
Do you speak at events other than elementary schools?
We absolutely do! Our sessions are perfect for any event that encourages literacy in kids! Whether it is a conference, a library event, or a homeschooling co-op... we are passionate to get kids writing and illustrating!
Do you speak to adult audiences?
We would love to! We are constantly developing creative strategies to share what we do as professionals in our fields of expertise! We are available for panel discussions, or collaborations for an inside look at the world of self-publishing and beyond. Do you need Presenters for a Break Out Session? We will create a customized slide presentation perfect for your audience!
